Women’s participation in the crypto industry indicates the sincerity and maturity of the field, which accepts gender diversity and the concept of gender equality in the stream. In 2022, women have reached a peak in the blockchain and cryptocurrency-based industry because of their ambition, innovation, leadership skills and dedication.
One local news media spoke with Nodira Sadikova, an angel investor, entrepreneur and acquisitions adviser in Web3. She appreciated the industry’s development and mentioned the group of under 30 women who were making an impact in the industry.
She added the names of young and talented women under 30, such as Daria Lomova (art adviser and curator of digital art exhibitions), Nastya Moroz (crypto trading and investment courses exclusively for women) and Stella Friaisse (crypto podcaster and event organizer) and many more.
Sadikova said, “This army of extremely bold personalities changed the market and generated new trends and opportunities for women who did not have the courage to step into the crypto industry.”

Elizabeth Stark
Elizabeth Stark is the CEO and co-founder of Lightning Labs. She is also an educator and lecturer in computer science at Yale University. She founded Lightning labs in 2016.
Her firm expertise is developing Lightning Network (LN) products, a layer-2 solution that combat scalability issues under the Bitcoin network.
Reportedly, the Lightning Network infrastructure developed by her firm was adapted for wide usage in 2022. The firm gave big support in transacting Bitcoin to fiat transactions.
Kathleen Breitman
Kathleen Breitman is CEO and co-founder of Tezos, a decentralized blockchain, and she also founded Dynamic Ledger Solutions (DLS). Kathleen was a former employee at the hedge fund R3 and Bridgewater Associates. In 2014, Kathleen started developing Tezos with a group of core developers.
The Tezos blockchain operates on the eponymous currency, Tezos. Its native token is currently trending in the list of the top 50 tokens.
