A western Asian island country, Bahrain became the first place in the region to accept payments in cryptocurrencies. A luxury 4-star beachside hotel in Manama, Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort, signed a payment service agreement with Eazy Financial Services, ‘EazyPay.’ 

The agreement signing ceremony was held at the Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort in attendance of Chief Executive Officer of Eazy Financial Services, Nayef Tawfiq Al-Alawi, General Manager of the resort, Amid Yazji, Director of Finance Muhammad Sohail Jamil and Head of Merchant services and sales, Khalid Showaiter. 

As per the agreement, Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort will be providing various electronic payment services to help flourish business operations and provide a better customer experience.

Crypto payment service at Bahrain Hotel 

The outlets at Novotel Bahrain’s Al Dana Resort will have state-of-the-art terminals accepting multiple modes of payment. This will include standard debit and credit cards from Visa and MasterCard, as well as the latest method of payment using crypto assets. 

The Central Bank of Bahrain will handle the payments. Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort has become the first hotel in Bahrain as well as in the region which will accept modern leading payments in digital assets such as Cryptocurrencies in a regulated, safe and extremely fast way. 

Amid Yazji, the general manager of the Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort, came up with his thoughts and said, We are pleased to publicize it is the first hotel in the domain of Bahrain and the region to allow the newest electronic payment technology in collaboration with Easy Financial Services, EazyPay.

 Further, he added, “keeping up with the development of technologies, and our constant desire to provide our valued guests with the highest levels of service.”
