Dubai Lynx partnered with Dubai Media City held after 3 years

Dubai Lynx held their Lynx festival, partnering with Dubai Media City in Dubai to bring out talented minds together. 

Dubai Lynx is a festival of creativity in MENA. The event is organized to celebrate and encourage the creative and talented minds who can lead the industry forward with their ideas and innovations. 

The two-day event occurred at Jumeirah Dubai. The event covered the panel discussion and sessions on the future of the advertising and marketing industry on 14 March. An award ceremony and after-party later followed it on 15 March. 

Agenda of the Dubai Lynx Festival 

The festival is MENA is one of the biggest gatherings. It was attended by big Brands, advertisers, start-ups, communication agencies and tech companies to talk about the development of the creative marketing community. 

The event brings out Industry leaders and C-level executives to discuss, have workshops and interact with the attendees. 

The festival allows start-ups and creative thinkers to present their ideas, vast their network and pitch their visions. The imaginative and creative thinkers who can lead the industry forward with their vision. 

The event has always provided a platform for people who know about trending topics in the region. The people who know fine touch and innovative technologies to grow the Marketing and advertising industry. 

Dubai Media City has added the spotlight to the freelancers and the women in the community who can enhance the industry with their creative and imaginative minds. Dubai Media City will also conduct specialized meet-ups for freelancers and women. 

Award Ceremony

After the main event, the award ceremony held on 15 March. Four hundred-one shortlisted for the award ceremony. The 70 global leaders and experts judged the enlisted entries.

The shortlisted entities categorized into 21 categories. The categories include Brand Experience & Activation, Creative Effectiveness, Creative Strategy, Creative Commerce, Digital, Director, Design, Film, Film Craft, Entertainment, Glass: The Award for Change, Industry Craft, Healthcare, Integrated, Mobile, Media, PR, Print and Publishing, Outdoor, Radio & Audio & Influencer.

Grand Prix for good Category not shortlisted; winners were directly announced at the ceremony. 

Film Craft received the most amount shortlist. They have 46 shortlisted.

Advertising person of the year

Khaled Alshehhi awarded the most reputable award, ‘advertising person of the year.’ Khaled Alshehhi is the Executive Director of Marketing and communication at UAE Government Media house. His strategic and visionary thinking has strengthened the UAE’s reputation.

After the three-year break, the Dubai Lynx festival partnered with Dubai Media City was back. The festival has given out opportunities to start-ups, freelancers and women in the industry. The event has helped brands and agencies to find new talent. The event wrapped up with an award ceremony and an after-party.
