Dubai Takes Charge: High-level Meetings Set Strategic Plan
The Higher Committee for Future Technology Development and Digital Economy has recently held its second meeting. During this, members discussed recent advancements in the digital space and explored ways to overcome the obstacles and benefit from the new opportunities.
The meeting was graced by the presence of esteemed authorities in the tech sector, including Omar bin Sultan Al Olama. The man holds the distinguished position of Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Remote Work and Digital Economy Applications. He is renowned for his significant contribution to the development of these fields. Additionally, Al Olama is the chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and serves as the committee’s Vice Chairman.
The other members of the Committee including Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation; Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism; Arif Amiri, CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC); Ahmed bin Byat, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy; Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director General of the Dubai Digital Authority; Malek Al Malek, Director General of the Dubai Development Authority and Chairman of Tecom Group and Maha Al Mezaina, Reporter of the Committee.
